Proposal for July 16th, 2026.

1. As an opener: "Englische Ansage" (also known as "Die englische Inhaltsangabe" or simply "Inhaltsangabe") is a one-person sketch by the German humorist Loriot. In it, a television announcer summarizes the plot of a fictive English crime series (which has never been produced or sent) but struggles with the difficult English names of characters and places. The sketch was first broadcast in November 1977 in the fourth episode of the *Loriot* series. Evelyn Hamann played the role of the announcer. A written version was first published in 1981 and has since been included in several of Loriot's anthologies.
